White Horse Tavern


Me outside my old haunt-writing and otherwise, 567 Hudson Street, the White Horse Tavern one winter night, 2008. I wrote many stories at those wooden tables seen here. I wrote a bulk of the story, Conversation at a Cafe' outside here one fall afternoon and came back the next day or so and finished it as the light faded from the trees and the buildings across the street. The photo is blurry but I like the colorful neon effect.

Rob McEvily, editor of Six Sentences met me there there for an interview. Here is a photo taken that night.

6S Volume 1 (2008) & 2 (2009)



All written at La Tazza Cafe' in Covina. I'm very proud to be associated with the very fine 6 Sentences and its excellent and generous editor, Rob McEvily. Volume 1 contains Homeland Insecurity, On Longing and Her Leaving, A Homecoming, The Unraveling of Mr. Pimm, Adrift and Dateline:Baghdad. Volume 2 contains Masks and The Undefeated. Rob called me "...far and away 6S's most prolific writer".
