White Horse Tavern

Me outside my old haunt-writing and otherwise, 567 Hudson Street, the White Horse Tavern one winter night, 2008. I wrote many stories at those wooden tables seen here. I wrote a bulk of the story, Conversation at a Cafe' outside here one fall afternoon and came back the next day or so and finished it as the light faded from the trees and the buildings across the street. The photo is blurry but I like the colorful neon effect.

Rob McEvily, editor of Six Sentences met me there there for an interview. Here is a photo taken that night.

Below is the link for an interview with Rob at the White Horse Tavern on December 16, 2008. A great literary night.

Pear Noir! Issue 1

Conversation at a Cafe' was published here in the debut issue of Pear Noir! Written at the White Horse Tavern on a pleasant Fall day. I was pleased to be in this debut issue.

Indigo

Primarily written at the White Horse Tavern at 567 Hudson, Street, NYC. The White Horse was presented one of the first copies. Alpha Beat Press, publishers of Kerouac, Bukowski and many of the other Beat poets published a collection of my poems in 1998. I had heard of Alpha beat Press and sent a manuscript to Ana & Dave Christy and they accepted it. I'm very proud of this collection and hurriedly did the cover art for it, depicting a Muse.
